Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Active WA SLP or SLPA License required
- ESA certification required for SLPs
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech-language services
- Open to SLPs with CCCs, CFYs, and SLPAs
- Previous healthcare or educational setting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, accessible learning climate
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with varied speech and language needs
- Maintain and organize documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide therapy services across all grade levels as assigned
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and participate in school team meetings
- Support students’ functional communication to enhance classroom participation and academic achievement
- Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold ethical, evidence-based practices
