Required skills and backgrounds include:
- Current WA SLP or SLPA license
- ESA certification (if credentialed as an SLP)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language therapy settings
- Familiarity with caseload management, IEP documentation, and collaboration with educators and families
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key responsibilities you’ll take on:
- Deliver speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and support the development of IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive student support
- Supervise and mentor SLPA staff as needed
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing progress monitoring
This full-time opportunity is structured as a four-day workweek, totaling 35 hours (8.75 hours each day), allowing for both meaningful impact and work-life balance.
