Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in educational settings or pediatrics strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, individualized education plans (IEPs), and goal-driven intervention strategies
- Compassionate communication skills and a collaborative approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Support and train school staff on strategies to promote effective communication in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the team’s holistic approach to student success
