Desired qualifications and background:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing services in school settings and/or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and a variety of communication disorders
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Massachusetts SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
What you'll do:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually and in group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop targeted treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student needs and progress
