What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA – Clinical Fellows not considered
- Recent experience in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary caseloads
- Availability for full-time hours (37.5/week) during the academic year
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-4 students with a variety of disabilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering expertise on speech and language needs
- Serve in one or more elementary schools within the district, working across diverse and welcoming communities
