Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hillsborough, NC
Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. You’ll work with a diverse caseload across multiple school locations, collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality speech and language interventions. The assignment runs full-time (35 hours/week) from August 18, 2026, to June 10, 2027, aligning with the traditional academic calendar.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience or comfort with virtual/voco SLP platforms
- Prior service in school settings supporting K-12 students across varying ages and needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working independently and adapting to different school environments
- Collaborative, organized, and dedicated to student-centered therapy
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in both virtual and in-person settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Adapt therapy plans to serve students with a variety of diagnoses and speech-language challenges
