Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though strong CFY applicants will be considered and supported
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of speech and language needs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative spirit with a commitment to fostering inclusion and equitable education
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and adherence to state and federal guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans aligned with each student’s goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and write effective evaluation reports
  • Provide direct therapy sessions—individual or group—across elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize students’ progress
  • Offer guidance and support to educators regarding communication disorder strategies in the classroom
