Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Central, SC

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) welcomed, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in educational, pediatric, or school-based settings preferred
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of communication disorders
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, working effectively with staff, families, and students
- Commitment to best practices, cultural competence, and continuing professional development
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized testing tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, providing insights for educational planning
- Document all services and progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Provide training and resources to staff and parents as needed
