Bring your speech-language pathology expertise to a welcoming school environment near Bolingbrook, IL! You will provide support to a manageable caseload of 22 students over approximately 15 hours per week, ensuring individualized, high-quality services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology state license (or eligibility)
  • Credentials: CCC-SLP, CFY-SLP, or experience in school-based settings
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students referred for speech-language services
  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and services delivered
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational planning
  • Facilitate family communication and provide resources as needed
