Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE PEL with Speech-Language endorsement
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility—first-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) welcome!
- Experience or comfort working with K-12 student populations
- Commitment to effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate openly with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all necessary reporting requirements
- Promote an inclusive, positive climate where every student’s voice is valued
