Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language endorsement
- Illinois State License (IDFPR) required
- Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs)
- Current knowledge of best practices for school-based speech therapy
- Strong organization and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and collaborate with IEP teams
- Facilitate effective communication among students with speech and language needs
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
