Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE PEL with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; however, Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) are welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings serving K-12 students
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
