Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE PEL with Speech-Language endorsement
- CCC-SLP credential, or eligibility to work as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLPs are welcome)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt strategies to diverse student populations, including general education and special education settings
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for students from kindergarten through high school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students’ unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute your expertise to shared decision-making
