What you bring:
- Valid Illinois State License (IDFPR) as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CF-SLP)
- Illinois ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language endorsement
- Schools-based SLP experience preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical foundations are encouraged to apply
- Open to SLP-As only when specifically indicated
- Dedication to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure integrated student support
- Assess, develop, and regularly update goals and treatment plans
- Maintain clear, timely records in compliance with district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluations, and offer guidance for classroom strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to the school environment
