School Speech Language Pathologist - Rockford, IL

Your responsibilities will encompass providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services, participating in team meetings, and contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse caseload spanning elementary through high school, making every day unique and impactful.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (ISBE PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist (SL) endorsement
- Current Illinois State License (IDFPR)
- SLP-CCC credentials preferred; applications from Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) are welcome
- Previous experience with K-12 students and school-based settings is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine service eligibility
- Develop measurable goals and track student progress
- Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
