Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Orland Park, IL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with diverse or high-needs student populations, is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication challenges and eligibility for services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation according to school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student success
