Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oak Lawn, IL

What You'll Need:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and commitment to student success
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting speech and language assessments and documenting progress
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Participating in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student services
- Maintaining accurate records and timely reporting for compliance
- Serving as an advocate for students with speech and language needs
