Exciting opportunity for a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to make an impact in a supportive school environment near Berwyn, IL for the upcoming academic year! This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to work directly with students from early childhood through 8th grade, collaborating with another SLP to provide high-quality speech and language services to a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working within school settings and with students in grades EC-8 is highly desirable
- Valid ISBE number, required at time of application
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a range of needs
- Work collaboratively with another SLP; student caseload of 70 will be divided based on FTE
- Maintain documentation and adhere to union and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Communicate effectively with families, students, and faculty members
