Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois PEL and Speech-Language Pathologist license (IDFPR required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to working onsite (remote work is not available)
- ISBE number must be included upon application
- Ability to adhere to union guidelines and district protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services for EC-8th grade students with a variety of needs
- Collaborate with another skilled SLP to balance a shared caseload of 70 students, splitting responsibilities according to FTE allocation
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for student success
