Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cicero, IL

The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping students reach their communication potential. You’ll provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services, and play a vital role in the educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- State license as a Speech Language Pathologist through IDFPR
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- ISBE number must be included with your application
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and faculty
- Willingness to follow all union guidelines and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades EC–8
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and provide individualized interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and adapt treatment plans based on student progress
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
This position is located on-site only, with a weekly schedule of 33.75 hours, running from August 17th through May 21st.
