Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- ISBE number is required for consideration
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse caseload of EC-8th grade students
- Collaborate with another SLP to support approximately 70 students, splitting caseloads for manageable workflow
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Foster communication among students, staff, and families
- Maintain compliance with district and union guidelines
