Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- ISBE number required for consideration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience working in educational settings, especially with EC-8th grade population, is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech and language services to a diverse caseload of EC-8th grade students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster academic and social success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Engage in proactive communication, adapting services as needed to align with school needs and student progress
