Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • ISBE number required for consideration
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience working in educational settings, especially with EC-8th grade population, is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person speech and language services to a diverse caseload of EC-8th grade students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster academic and social success
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Engage in proactive communication, adapting services as needed to align with school needs and student progress
