Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work on-site with students ranging from early childhood through 8th grade during the upcoming school year. The position follows a traditional school calendar, with the contract running from mid-August through late May, and involves working standard school hours with a single caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) specific to Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, working with students from early childhood to 8th grade.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time for one school location (remote options are not available).
  • ISBE number required for candidate consideration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student population.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain comprehensive records, and document progress.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning.
  • Comply with all union requirements and district policies.
