Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (IDFPR)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, especially with EC–8th Grade
- Must have or be able to provide an ISBE number
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech and language therapy to students (EC–8th grade)
- Work collaboratively to split a caseload of approximately 70 students with another SLP—one FTE for 45 students, the other .5 FTE for 25 students
- Complete assessments, IEP documentation, and participate in meetings as required by the district
- Adhere to district and union guidelines; note interview timelines may be impacted by union scheduling
