Desired Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP License/Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary students
- Skilled in direct speech-language therapy and evaluations
- Comfortable developing IEP goals and progress monitoring
- Proficient in documenting student progress within special education frameworks
- Effective collaborator with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Ability to work on-site for a full scheduled day
- Reliable transportation to the school location
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary school students
- Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support teams
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and support providers
- Adapt as needed to different caseload assignments based on school needs
