Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Delaware SLP License/Certification (please submit documentation)
- Strongly preferred: previous experience in a school-based setting, especially serving elementary-aged students
- History of delivering speech-language therapy, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and developing individualized IEP goals
- Proficiency in progress monitoring, data collection, and clinical documentation within an educational context
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, related service professionals, families, and school staff to support student success
- Commitment to working on-site for the full elementary school schedule (8:45 AM–4:15 PM EST)
- Flexibility to adapt to caseload changes as district needs evolve
Role Overview:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting
- Lead and participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Develop, track, and update IEP goals based on student progress and data
- Maintain accurate records, collect and document data, and communicate results effectively with all stakeholders
- Contribute to a supportive and resourceful team, assisting wherever additional input is needed
