School Speech Language Pathologist - Auburn, Washington

Position Details:
- Contract period: September 1, 2026 - June 23, 2027
- Onsite, supporting K-12 students
- Weekly schedule: 37.5 hours
- Location: Within a reasonable commute of Auburn and Tacoma
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Washington SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Fingerprinted through OSPI or willingness to complete this requirement
- Washington ESA certification or commitment to obtain it prior to start
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Collaborate with school staff to support student success and integration into classroom environments
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued school team member
