Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who thrive in a collaborative environment are needed for onsite roles. Work directly with elementary-aged students across approximately two school sites, managing a varied caseload and making a direct impact on children’s communication and growth.
These positions are full-time, asking for 40 hours each week (8.5-hour days with a half-hour unpaid lunch), starting on August 14, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. Embrace the rewarding challenge of serving about 47 students per caseload, working onsite to foster student development. Two positions are currently available.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Completion of a master's (for SLP) or associate's/bachelor’s degree (for SLPA) in speech-language pathology or communication sciences
- Current AK state certification and licensure required
- SLP-CCC credential is necessary for SLP applicants
- School-based SLP or SLPA experience is a plus
- Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and direct intervention methods
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple campus assignments and adapt to elementary education environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech-language therapy to a diverse group of elementary-aged students
- Assess, design, and implement student-specific treatment plans aligned with academic and developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document student growth, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
