Qualifications:
- Active Alaska (AK) SLP Certification and licensure is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Experience providing speech-language services in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and interventions to K-5 students
- Assess, identify, and document students’ speech and language needs
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and support implementation
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support personnel, and families
- Track student progress and maintain up-to-date records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive therapy environment for all students
Position Details:
- Full-time contract, August 14, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- 40 hours per week, onsite only (8.5-hour days with a 0.5-hour unpaid lunch)
- Opportunities available for SLPs and SLPAs (two positions open)
- Manage a caseload averaging 47 elementary students across two sites
