Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Alaska state SLP Certification and licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Experience providing school-based speech-language services strongly desired
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 47 students across two schools
- Passion for supporting elementary-aged learners in a diverse setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Only onsite candidates will be considered (remote/VOCO services not available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and student success
- Deliver therapy services tailored to the educational setting
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development
