The assignment runs from August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027, requiring onsite presence—remote or VOCO work is not available. You’ll enjoy full-time hours (40 hours per week with an 8.5-hour day and a half-hour unpaid lunch), working directly with students who benefit greatly from your expertise.
Ideal candidates will bring their clinical skills and compassionate approach to a caseload of approximately 47 students, fostering communication progress and supporting educational goals. Both SLPs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply, and two positions are available.
Qualifications:
- Valid AK Certification and licensure
- SLPs: CCC credentials required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload at multiple sites
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (this is not a remote/VOCO position)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support within the school setting
