Key Qualifications:
- Active Alaska licensure and state certification required
- SLPs must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- SLPAs must meet Alaskan credentialing standards
- Prior experience delivering speech and language services in schools is highly desired
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites and managing a diverse elementary caseload
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week (8.5 hours/day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Onsite only – this role does not offer remote or VOCO options
- Serve two elementary school locations, supporting an average caseload of about 47 students
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Complete required documentation, progress reports, and student records in accordance with district and legal standards
- Develop and implement IEP goals, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in case management and support staff training as needed
