Qualifications:
- Active Alaska licensure and certification required
- SLPs must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload averaging 47 students
- Proficient in assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, focusing on elementary populations
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with team members
