We're seeking dynamic Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs with CCC) or SLPAs to provide dedicated, in-person services across two elementary school sites. You'll have a significant role in fostering communication skills and success for a motivated, diverse caseload averaging 47 students.
This contract opportunity offers full-time hours—40 hours per week—with a schedule designed to let you provide meaningful interventions while maintaining a balanced workday. You'll collaborate closely with school staff and families, contributing your expertise to help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Alaska SLP Certification and licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred for SLPs
- Experience in school-based settings—elementary level a plus
- Effective communication, organizational and documentation skills
- Positive, team-focused attitude and a genuine passion for helping students
- Must be available for onsite services only; no virtual/remote options
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and direct therapy
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain data-driven progress tracking and timely reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment across two school sites
