School Speech Language Pathologist - Middletown, Pennsylvania
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students for the remainder of the 25/26 school year! This role focuses on working closely with a caseload of 34 students, all with autism, cultivating their communication skills to empower both their academic progress and social development. Your expertise will be highly valued, and you’ll collaborate with a team dedicated to making a difference.
Schedule: Full-time, 8:10 AM – 3:40 PM, starting as soon as possible through June 4, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally within a school setting
- Previous work with students with autism is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering student growth
- Commitment to upholding compliance and documentation standards
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess the speech, language, and communication needs of assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child
- Provide ongoing direct intervention focused on social and academic success
- Collaborate consistently with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to guide student progress and planning
