What You’ll Need:
- An active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based approaches for communication needs
- Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with families, teachers, and support teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify communication challenges through formal and informal evaluations
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans to address unique student goals
- Deliver both group and one-on-one interventions to enhance language, speech, and social communication
- Collaborate closely with teachers, classroom staff, and family members to ensure consistency and provide support
- Maintain compliance with IEP processes and document progress accurately
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive, supportive school environment
