Make a direct impact in the lives of elementary students by providing essential speech-language services in a supportive and collaborative educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity runs through June 4, 2026, offering a consistent schedule from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM. You'll work closely with a caseload of 34 students, focusing on those with autism spectrum disorder, empowering them to achieve growth both academically and socially.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with autistic learners
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation requirements for school-based SLPs
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with students, teachers, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting communication and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success across school environments
  • Ensure compliance with all IEP requirements and maintain accurate student records
  • Consult regularly with faculty and administration on best practices for supporting students with communication challenges
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and district initiatives as requested
