Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) - New Prague, Minnesota

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or specialized skills in autism support and working with K-8th grade students
- Background in special education or adapting communication strategies for diverse learners
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Readiness to start promptly and maintain compassionate, student-focused care
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8th grade students across two school sites
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), focusing on students requiring specialized support, including those on the autism spectrum
- Collaborate with teachers, autism specialists, and special education staff to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in alignment with school and district standards
- Engage with families to foster carryover of communication skills and support strategies at home
- Travel between two nearby locations as part of the weekly schedule
