Autism Specialist | Jordan, Minnesota
Exciting opportunity available for speech-language professionals seeking a rewarding contract at two campuses near the heart of Minnesota! Support K-8 students by providing expert services in a collaborative, welcoming school environment. This position is ideal for those with a background in autism support, special education, or speech-language pathology, including recent graduates and assistants.
You’ll enjoy the chance to work between two sites, engaging with diverse caseloads while having the flexibility to shape your weekly schedule. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 6, 2025, with no summer hours required—offering a true work-life balance. There’s also the potential for renewal for the next school year.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- SLP, SLP-CF, SLPA, or Special Education Teacher certifications welcomed
- Demonstrated experience or coursework related to autism support and K-8 populations
- Effective communicator, collaborative with colleagues, families, and administrators
- Ability to travel between two local sites as scheduled
- Passion and desire to make a positive impact in special education settings
- Skilled at working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication interventions for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in partnership with educators and families
- Utilize evidence-based practices for students with autism spectrum disorder and related needs
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to address a range of student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
Position Perks:
