Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials accepted
- Background in providing pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Experience with assessment and implementation of IEPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to support a diverse elementary student population
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students’ goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in student progress meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches dynamically for single or multiple school settings
- Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for every learner
