Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP-CCC certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting
- Proficiency in therapy for pediatric populations (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for a diverse student body
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Open to professionals who are innovative, flexible, and committed to supporting students’ success
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Deliver both push-in and pull-out therapy models based on student needs
- Engage in regular communication with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to maximize student potential
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as appropriate
