Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Virginia state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Proficiency in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to serving diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from elementary through high school (majority elementary)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement evidence-based therapy practices
