Qualifications:
- Current VA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Credentialed SLP-CCC or candidates with CFY status encouraged to apply
- Experienced or entry-level candidates welcome; skilled in pediatric therapy
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
- Comfortable managing a caseload within elementary school settings
- Collaborative, communicative, and flexible approach to working with school teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and deliver therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Provide therapy across assigned school(s)—choose between single-site or dual-school assignments
- Document student progress and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers for language and communication strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
