Qualifications and Experience:
- Current or in-progress Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
- CCC credential, CFY candidates, and those experienced in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP all encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic practices for children with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff in a school environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for elementary-aged students
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student needs
- Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
- Offer consultation and support to teaching staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
