Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Alexandria, Virginia

We’re seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support elementary students for the full school year. As a valued therapist, you’ll collaborate with educational teams and deliver exceptional speech services across diverse caseloads. Opportunities include both single-site and two-school assignments, allowing you to tailor your experience.
We have two full-time positions available for SLPs who are passionate about pediatric care and embracing the school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP license and eligibility to practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
- Strong knowledge in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders
- Commitment to student progress and interdisciplinary cooperation
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop goal-oriented intervention strategies
- Support classroom teams with consultative input and resources
- Monitor progress, maintain required records, and produce thorough documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and family consultations
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
