Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching credential (mild/moderate or moderate/severe emphasis preferred)
  • Prior experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with evidence-based instructional methods for students with significant needs
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with related service providers, administrators, and families
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging curriculum tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
  • Regularly assess student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and IEP compliance
