Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (mild/moderate or moderate/severe emphasis preferred)
- Prior experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with evidence-based instructional methods for students with significant needs
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with related service providers, administrators, and families
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging curriculum tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
- Regularly assess student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and IEP compliance
