Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist | Hollister, California

This is a full-time, contract position with opportunities in elementary, middle, and high school settings, with assignments that can be tailored based on your expertise and preferences. In-person, Monday through Friday, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues and impact the lives of K-12 students.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active California SLP License required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
- Comfortable delivering therapy, assessment, and consultation in a school environment
- Competence in all phases of the special education process; background in early learning or atypical impairments is a plus
- Able to work positively and professionally with staff, students, families, and community partners
- Strong skills in evaluation, planning, and communication, including active listening and constructive two-way feedback
- A natural ability to infuse humor and positivity into daily interactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative services, diagnostic assessment, and remediation for students with speech and language needs
- Function as an integral member of multi-disciplinary IEP teams, sharing expertise and supporting academic planning
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and related service providers to discuss student progress and adjust supports
- Directly serve children with speech/language impairments to enhance their classroom participation and communication
- Support general and special educators in developing and implementing effective language programs
