Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Previous experience providing therapy and conducting assessments in a pediatric or school setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments for students as assigned
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups, targeting articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and/or pragmatic skills
- Participate in IEP meetings; contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation, adhering to school and legal guidelines
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to provide strategies that facilitate student success in the classroom
