Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience delivering therapy services in educational settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate and adaptable approach with students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow therapists to design and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Monitor student progress and adjust goals and strategies as needed to maximize outcomes
- Consult with teachers and families to support students’ carryover of skills in classroom and home environments
