Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility is a plus
- Experience with school-based therapy, IEP development, and compliance with state/district policies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy according to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards
