Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist - Oak Lawn, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Illinois SLP license is necessary
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows are also welcome
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
- School-based SLP experience highly valued, but not mandatory
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments and evaluations of students’ speech-language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, upholding compliance with district and state policies
