Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience as an SLP in schools, pediatric settings, or similar environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions individually or in groups
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and document all services provided
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ language development in and out of the classroom
  • Offer training or resources to school staff when appropriate
