Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with current evaluation tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address identified needs
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing researched-backed methods
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights regarding student development
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal requirements
