Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech-language pathology settings highly valued
  • Passion for supporting students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention for students within the school setting, focusing on both individual and small group formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other therapy professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and complete required compliance paperwork in a timely manner
  • Engage with families and caregivers, offering strategies and updates to promote ongoing success
