Speech Pathologist Assistant in Natick, MA
An educational facility in Natick, MA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join their team on a contractual basis. This onsite position offers an opportunity to support students requiring speech and language interventions while working in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified speech-language pathologists in providing speech and language therapy services to students
- Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision and document student progress
- Participate in student evaluations, screenings, and related activities to support speech-language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state licensure regulations and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLPA state licensure is required
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of speech and language developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and school staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
