Key qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in MA is required
- Experience supporting speech-language therapy in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and educators
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to support implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist the lead SLP in delivering therapy sessions to students as prescribed in their IEPs
- Track and record student progress and document sessions in a timely manner
- Support with materials preparation and classroom integration of communication strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce skill development across school settings
- Attend meetings or training as required by the school or supervisory SLP
- Help cultivate a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation
