Two contract positions are available for dedicated SLPAs who are eager to support K-12 students’ communication development across several school sites in the Peyton area near Monument, Colorado. This opportunity offers full-time hours with a structured, consistent schedule in a welcoming educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement and track individualized treatment plans according to each student’s IEP goals.
- Maintain organized and accurate student documentation, and update progress notes as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and strong communication.
- Attend paid team meetings and use allocated indirect hours for administrative tasks and planning.
- Travel between assigned school sites locally to provide consistent therapy coverage.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an SLPA program or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders required.
- Active or eligible SLPA licensure for Colorado (CDE credentialing requirements to be confirmed).
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills, with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness and ability to work across multiple campuses.
